The Mica Lamp Company

The Mica Lamp Company was established in 1991, specializing in the manufacture of copper lamps in the American Arts and Crafts style, also known as the Mission or Prairie style, particularly the style popularized by Dirk Van Erp. All of its copper light fixtures are handmade in the US, following techniques used by coppersmiths in the 1900s.

Mica Fan and Light Combinations

There are currently 14 designs of Mica ceiling fans available, all of which are equipped with motors patterned after the Emerson K55XL, the most powerful yet most silent ceiling fan motor ever made. Other features include reversible rich mahogany and oak blades, a selection of motor finishes including dark copper, satin copper, bright brass, white and black iron, and beautiful light kits that are the fan’s most distinguishing feature. Most of the light kits are available in orange amber mica and almond natural mica while others also come in frost acrylic and alabaster glass.

Each Mica ceiling fan also comes with a handheld remote control with three fan speeds, a reverse button and a light dimmer, along with a wall unit that offers the same functions.
