The Emerson Fan Company

The Emerson K5XXL Motor
The Emerson K5XXL motor is found in most Emerson fans, as well as in some other ceiling fan brands, like Kichler and Tommy Bahama, which are manufactured in partnership with Emerson.
This motor is known for its durable construction, with sealed precision steel bearings – the largest in the ceiling fan industry – that do not require oiling, cast aluminum end shields, thick laminations and plenty of high quality copper wiring, as well as its quiet operation, all of which ensure a powerful performance for many years.
Other Emerson ceiling fans make use of the Emerson 153mm, 188mm and 212mm motors, which all go through stringent testing, while many of the Energy Star rated models are equipped with the Eco Motor, which uses 75% less energy.
